HOW TO LIGHT A CHILD'S ROOM?
As you know, light has a significant physiological and psychological impact, regardless of the season or the time of day. This is even truer if one is interested in the luminous environment of our children!
Children's need for light is greater than that of adults! Up to 5 times more light sources can be found in a child's bedroom than in an adult's bedroom.
Indeed the lighting of the children's rooms and all the luminous accessories must be chosen with care. Children, unlike adults, spend most of their time playing in their rooms, so the light in their rooms must look like the light of a living room.
DAYLIGHTING
Think about the age of your children and the activities they will do in their rooms.
If your child is young and does not have more than 9 years, he will be brought to play in a classic way in a space on the ground. Thus the lighting must be optimal, so as to allow a complete illumination of the room.
SECURITY FOR YOUR CHILDREN
As mentioned before, security is important! As we detail on our product sheets, remember to check the CE or EEC certification on the products used by your children. These markings guarantee the conformity of the products with the European legislation in force, it is thus a guarantee of security not to be missed during your purchases.
Also, it should not be left hanging in the middle of rooms or in a corner. To avoid street lights in your child's room!
In terms of design and future trends for your children, we invite you to take a look at our "Kids" collection, but as usual, we also give you some tips! The little more design is usually given at night thanks to lamps, LED par lamps and night light bulbs.
THE NIGHT LIGHT FOR NIGHT LIGHTING
Colors, patterns, superhero design or projection of ceiling landscapes for young children can both prepare sleep for very young children (0 to 3 years) and reassure the less young (3 to 10 years) in case of waking at night by accustoming them to giving known landmarks.
